(Video) Detik Cemas Gempa Bumi Kuat Gegarkan Timur Laut Jepun, Hampir 900,000 Rumah Dilapor ‘Terjejas’
Satu gempa bumi kuat 7.3 skala ritcher telah melanda timur laut Jepun lewat Sabtu, lapor NHK News. Kejadian yang berlaku pada 11.07 pm waktu tempatan (10.07 pm waktu Malaysia) itu dilaporkan berpusat di 73.9 kilometer timur laut Namie, sebuah bandar pesisir 60 batu dari Fukushima, menurut Kajian Geologi Amerika Syarikat. Gempa dipercayai berlaku pada kedalaman 55 kilometer.
Sekurang-kurangnya 80 mangsa direkodkan cedera di wilayah Miyagi dan Fukushima akibat gempa tersebut. Impak gegaran telah menyebabkan hampir 900,000 rumah terputus bekalan elektrik selain menyebabkan kebocoran bekalan air di stesen kereta api Fukushima.
Namun, tiada amaran tsunami dikeluarkan manakala loji kuasa nuklear dipercayai tidak mengalami sebarang permasalahan.
Menurut CNN, Agensi Meteorologi Jepun menganggap kejadian itu sebagai gempa susulan selepas fenomena gempa bumi kuat yang melanda lokasi sama pada 11 Mac 2011. Gempa bumi dengan kekuatan 9 skala ritcher itu telah menyebabkan 100,000 orang hilang tempat tinggal apabila loji nuklear di sana melepaskan bahan radioaktif manakala lebih 20,000 dilaporkan maut atau hilang dalam gempa serta tsunami.
